Injury lawsuits in Canada?
Does anyone know whether all lawyers offer free consultations?
There is a website www.ontarioinjurylaw.ca/info.html that offers a lot of free information about personal injury cases, but I am wondering if all lawyers offer free consultations too.

JC Penney or Gap?
I went to a Gap store and talked to a manager. She told me that I would be making more at Gap…. but I have only been working at JC Penney for two months. I like working there, but I hate it how it's a department store and how I never see young people (usually middle aged or seniors shop at JC Penney and I work at the juniors section). The people are friendly and everything. I don't know! Gap looks so much cooler! What do you think?
I'm a teenager, I couldn't give a rats booty about what the first answer just said. I do not have to pay bills, I go places to meet people. K, thnx

Ok, so I spoke with my Workers Comp lawyer and it turns out that everyone else is wrong?
My employer where I was injured a year and a half ago, is NOT obligated to hire me back, find me a position, or even pay me at the same rate I was receiving at the time of injury. Either my lawyer sucks, or everyone else I have been speaking to is wrong. If my lawyer is wrong, how do I find this out? Sadly, It seems to me that Workers Comp does not do much to protect the injured. I have to reapply at my former employer, submit a resume, go through the interview process and try to get hired all over again and possibly have to start at the beginning all over again with money per hour.
This is NY state and my lawyer said that NY laws state that they can hire and fire for any reason.

help find lawyer to sue employer for an on the job injury?
I was seriously injured on the job. Collected BWC payments, they say I reached MMI, so now they have cut me off. My Dr will not release me to go back to work. Can I sue my employer for my permanent injuries? I had a spinal fusion. Now i have a metal plate in my neck, and constant pain. BWC agrees I will be in pain for the rest of my life, and have permanent restrictions. Any ideas? Please help before i go broke. Thanks

repeat question: know any personal injury lawyers to sue a cop for breaking my back?
now pay attention…I was robbed, called the cops,they aressted a guy they seen by my house on a warrant,when i asked them if they were going to take my report and dust for prints they laughed and said they were about off duty so i told them i would just call another cop and report it,whenthey left i went to the store and called another on the way on the way back they must of found out and came up behind me as i pulled into my drive.When i got out the one cop started brutilizing me and cuffed me and threw me on the ground, with my brother watching, when i asked if i was under aresst i wasn't answered, when i asked what i did i wasn't answered and because i have to have hip replacements i moved to be in less pain and cop put his hands on my shoulders and pushed till he crushed my vertabrea and i had a 50% loss in height of vertabrea, causing me to have to have a cement substance put in my spine. They wrote as many tickets that they could think of but non of them stood up in court .

know any lawyers that will take a personal injury case against a cop?
i had been robbed and called they aressted a guy and blew me off and when i said i would just call another cop they gave me every tickect they could think of but i beat all the charges and the FBI is investigating.but my back was a serious permant injury that canot be fixed and will have to be on heavy pain meds for life.

i had a back injury at work in 2006. insurance wants to settle. lawyer thinks i should settle. should I?
i still have minimal pain. can't drive,walk or stand for length of time. they are offering 30. i'm uncertain.
i had used this lawyer before for a neck injury. he got more money for me when they offered 25. how do i go about getting another lawyer; would present lawyer still get paid along with a new lawyer? Is coming out with 20 good? I do think its unfair. Also I have appt. with a doctor in oct. its more like a 4 hour test to see what i can and cannot do. is waiting to settle a bad idea? could they offer less then I'd have to accept?
